Pastor Shaw met his wife Glenda while a business major at Pensacola Christian College. After answering the call to the ministry, he finished his Bible degree and spent ten years as a missionary in the Philippines. The Shaws returned to the United States in 1993 to pastor one of their supporting churches. Pastor Shaw has also served as Asian Field Director for Global Fundamental Baptist Missions and currently oversees China Guesthouse Bible Ministry, starting churches and supplying Bibles to mainland China. They have been at Fellowship Baptist Church since December of 2006.
