How do I get to Fellowship Baptist?
What can I expect on my first visit?
You can't miss our church building at the intersection 337 and Corydon-Ramsey Rd. The main entrance is on Corydon-Ramsey Rd NW, and you'll recognize it by our church sign. As you enter the building and approach the main auditorium, one of our greeters will meet you with an information packet. This will have a visitor card that you can fill out and drop in the offering plate so we have a record of your visit, plus a "thank you" gift just for visiting. The greeters can also answer any other questions you may have.
After a song and prayer, everyone dismisses to their Sunday School class where you are invited to meet people, enjoy perhaps some coffee and donuts, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. These classes last 45 minutes to an hour. The best way to get to know people at Fellowship Baptist Church is to visit one of these Sunday School classes. If you need to know where these classes are located, our greeters can help you.
Where do I take my children?
Starting with our nursery, there is something special for every age.
At every service there is a safe and clean nursery for children three
years old and under. This is located in the foyer on the left as you
enter the front door. For children four years old through sixth grade
there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes
are staffed with friendly and well-qualified teachers and helpers who
will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
What about my teens?
If your child is in 7th - 12th grade, he/she can attend a Sunday
School class specifically geared for teens. Here they will
enjoy the fellowship of those their age and receive a challenging
lesson from our youth pastor, David Demastus. Their class meets
on Sunday morning at 10:00 and Wednesday evening at 7:00.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Fellowship Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Fellowship Baptist!
